Summer 2024, Grimesz worked with St Georges faculty and pupils to produce a place-making mural for their courtyard area. Grimesz conducted a full day of workshops with classes of each year from Reception to Year 6 and their extra curricular, Drawing Club!
Using designs and drawings made by the children of Dinsdale, Grimesz used their work to inspire the mural designs by applying his experienced design knowlege and bespoke visual style, immortalising the heritage of the alumni and transforming a space for the community. Followed by an exhibition of the childrens original work which influenced the mural which can be seen within the images below...
Size: Whole Courtyard, approx.460ft2 in total wall space painted.
Timescale: 6 days (+1 day of workshops)
